Join us as we prepare for the winter and holiday season! Northwell Off the Rack is a free pop-up thrift shop exclusively for team members and their families designed to help us embrace an eco-friendly approach to sourcing our clothes and giving them a second life when we are done.
Three Ways to Get Involved
1. Oct. 14 – Oct. 28: Donate
Look for drop boxes at designated Northwell locations across Nassau, Suffolk and Queens. We are collecting gently used or ‘like new’ clothing and accessories* (everyday, work, special occasion), with a focus on winter attire including coats, sweaters, boots, scarves, gloves for men, women, teens, children, infants and toddlers.
2. Nov. 11 – Nov. 23: Volunteer
Northwell team members can volunteer to work at the shop by selecting an available timeslot below. You must have your manager’s approval in advance. You will be notified by via email to confirm participation with details.

3. Nov. 11 – Nov. 23: Shop for FREE and give back

Store Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
During a break or before or after work, stop by the shop to find your next favorite outfit. Family members are welcome. Please bring your ID badge with you; family must be accompanied by a team member.
Help give back to Northwell families: Bring a non-perishable food item with you when you shop for our Thanksgiving food drive.
