Join us with your family members as we prepare for prom and graduation season! Northwell Off the Rack is a free pop-up thrift shop exclusively for team members and their families designed to help us embrace an eco-friendly approach to sourcing our clothes and giving them a second life when we are done.
Three Ways to Get Involved
1. April 7 – April 18: Donate
Look for drop boxes at designated Northwell locations across Nassau, Suffolk and Queens (See the full list of locations on the right). We are collecting gently used or ‘like new’ attire, shoes and accessories for proms and graduations for women and men. Specifically, we are looking for formalwear, gowns, occasion dresses, men’s suits, tuxedos, shoes, handbags, ties, jewelry and more.
2. May 5 – May 17: Volunteer
Northwell team members can volunteer to work at the shop by selecting an available timeslot below. You must have your manager’s approval in advance. You will be notified via email to confirm participation with details.

Store Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
During a break or before or after work, stop by the shop to find your next favorite outfit and bring your family. Please bring your ID badge with you; family must be accompanied by a team member.

Thank you! With your support, we collected more than 20,800 pounds of donations for clothing, shoes and accessories, welcomed more than 2,976 shoppers, and had more than 741 Northwell volunteers participate.
