Prepare for the next step of your Northwell career journey at our career coaching sessions for Northwell veterans, service team members and their immediate families.
Northwell Health will be hosting monthly in-person and virtual career coaching sessions across our organization exclusively for our Northwell veterans, service team members and their immediate families. As one of the nation’s top military friendly employers for veterans, service members and their families, we are inspired by our Truly Ambitious team members who are ready to take the next step in their career journey. During your individualized 30-minute session, you will have the opportunity to meet with a talent acquisition specialist for a coaching session on any of the following topics of interest:
- Career path guidance
- Resume review
- Explore clinical and non-clinical opportunities
Make sure to bring copies of your resume with you to the coaching session. If you do not have a resume, you can speak with a recruiter about resume writing tips and guidelines to build your resume.
In addition to career coaches from our Career Services team, Northwell’s Military Liaison Services team will also be onsite to discuss the following:
- Challenges veterans and their families may be experiencing, with support from our care coordination and crisis management team
- Education on issues impacting service members and their families and help securing professional scholastic opportunities
- How to join our VALOR Business Employee Resource Group (BERG), Northwell’s community with others who have served or currently serve in the U.S. military, have family members in the armed forces or have a special interest in military and veterans’ affairs
Northwell Coffee and Careers will be held at the below locations in-person. If you are unable to attend in-person, you may choose “virtual” as an option for your 30-minute session when you register.
