This development is aimed at providing life-saving cardiac services, such as stenting and angioplasty, directly in the facility.

The facility will also introduce in-patient beds. This allows patients requiring overnight stays, after emergency room visits or cardiac procedures to now remain at Lenox Health Greenwich Village, instead of being moved to other hospitals. This expansion is part of a broader $36.7 million investment by Northwell Health to enhance services in the West Village and better meet the needs of the local community.
This project is expected to be completed by 2025, offering not only improved cardiac care but also greater convenience for residents of downtown Manhattan.
