Welcoming Veterans and Military Service Members to apply for Northwell Health’s Train and Earn Epic Trainer Program
Northwell Health is proud to offer a paid comprehensive training program, in partnership with our Military Liaison Services Department, to support veterans and military service members who are looking to advance their career as a learning and organizational development educator – Epic trainer. This six-to-eight-week, full-time, on-the-job, paid training program will prepare eligible veterans and military service members.
Northwell Health is providing a full scholarship to all veterans and military service members who participate in the Train and Earn Epic Trainer Program. Please submit your resume in advance.

Train and Earn Epic Trainer Program overview:
Northwell Health is honored to support veterans and military service members throughout our communities by providing them with an opportunity to jumpstart a career as an Epic trainer. Program details:
- This on-the-job, full-time, paid training program begins on Monday, March 31, 2025, and takes place in-person, for six-to-eight (6-8) weeks.
- Training will be provided to become a credentialed Epic Trainer. The training format of the course includes both didactic and experiential learning as an Epic trainer.
- This role will require travel to multiple sites, 5 days per week, has varied shifts available and may require one weekend day. This role lasts up to 2 years.
- Upon successful completion of the Train and Earn Epic Trainer Program, you must pass a comprehensive return demonstration of the skills learned to become a credentialed Epic trainer. This role will require travel to multiple sites, 5 days per week, has varied shifts available and may require one weekend day. This is a full-time role with a fixed term of up to two (2) years.

Eligibility requirements and program commitments*:
Our training program is for eligible veterans and military service members who have:
- A bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
- Teaching or training experience is a plus.
- A strong customer service / interpersonal skills highly preferred.
- The ability to travel where need throughout the Northwell system.
- The ability to provide an employment commitment for a minimum of one (1) year to work as a credentialed Epic trainer at Northwell Health.

- STEP 1: Submit your resume to apply for the Train and Earn Epic Trainer Program by Friday, February 21, 2025.
- STEP 2: Qualified candidates will be contacted by a member of the Northwell Health team.
- STEP 3: Final candidates will be invited to an in-person interview at a designated date and time.
- STEP 4: Candidates will be notified of acceptance by the week of March 10, 2025.
