Assistant Vice President, Health Plan Performance
Responsible for driving the performance of our network solution across Northwell Direct’s entire book of business, while also overseeing our most strategic client relationships.
Specific responsibilities include:

- Develop the framework to evaluate, monitor, and measure the performance of our network solution for self-funded employers on an ongoing basis, such that it can be applied by strategic account executives and account managers to our existing book of business, driving value and savings for clients and Northwell.
- Develop and implement strategies and best practices that are focused on maximizing savings and value to the client, while driving greater steering and utilization of Northwell Health facilities and providers, creating a win-win for the client and the health system.
- Oversee the performance and management of the strategic account executives assigned to Northwell Direct’s largest/enterprise sized accounts (currently 2 – 32BJ and Northwell Health), including support of internal and external relationships needed to effectively deliver service and maximize client and health system value.

Business Intelligence Specialist

- Partner with leadership to translate business questions into testable analytics related to health plan performance, provider network performance, and claims accuracy, with a focus on Northwell Direct’s largest client account, 32BJ. Translate findings back to non-technical leadership to support development of actions / interventions.
- Apply multiple analytical tools and methods to diverse data – including claims data, pricing transparency data, member demographics, and clinical data – to drive new insights that can improve both Northwell Direct’s services and client performance.
- Transform complex needs into dynamic, custom dashboards and reports that empower stakeholders to make decisions that drive the business.

Strategic Account Manager (32BJ)
Responsible for developing strong personal and collaborative internal (union and labor client) and external (TPA & Health Plan) relationships to build and ensure satisfaction to expand the employee benefit design and plans by acting as a liaison, identifying needs, and coordinating for seamless service delivery while maintaining positive outcomes related to the contract and the business/benefit needs.

- Serve as the point person across all departments and cross functions internally and externally to ensure timely issue resolution and client satisfaction including labor and union leadership.
- Maintain all contractual and performance guarantee obligations as well as process improvements where needed.
- Service delivery on the customer relationship; including day to day service contact, key point of contact for service and oversee resolution of administrative issues, manage Key meetings, and follow up (reporting, quarterly meetings, introduction of changes, etc.)
- Previous large Client Management/Account Management experience with labor and/or Union clients preferred.
- The position requires understanding employee benefit plan needs, developing account strategies, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Faced paced environment with changing priorities.

The Account Executive has the overall responsibility for developing strong personal and collaborative internal (Health System) and external (TPA) relationships to build and ensure satisfaction to expand the employee benefit design and plans by acting as a liaison, identifying needs, and coordinating for seamless service delivery while maintaining positive outcomes related to the contract and the business/benefit needs.
