Northwell Health is hosting in-person and virtual career coaching sessions with our Health Raisers and their families over a cup of coffee. During individualized 30-minute sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet with a talent acquisition specialist for a career coaching session on any of the following topics of interest:
- Career path guidance
- Resume review
- Explore clinical and non-clinical opportunities
Make sure to bring copies of your resume with you to the coaching session. If you do not have a resume, you can speak with a recruiter about resume writing tips and guidelines to build your resume.
What is Northwell Off the Rack?
Northwell Off the Rack is our pop-up thrift store for team members and their families, located in suite 180, just across the hall from the Northwell Workwell where we are holding Coffee and Careers. Team members and their family members are welcome to shop for their next favorite outfit as they contribute to sustainability and an eco-friendly solution for clothes and accessories for adults, children and teens. Please bring your Northwell ID badge with you; family must be accompanied by a team member.
Give new life to items you no longer use.
You can participate even if you can’t attend on October 29 by donating gently used or ‘like new’ clothing and accessories for your fellow LIJFH team members and families (adults, teens and children). Look for the donation bin by the employee hallway to the cafeteria and/or in the 10th floor administrative suite.
Please no undergarments, bathing suits, socks, make-up or earrings.
Northwell Coffee and Careers will be held at the below location in-person. If you are unable to attend in-person, you may choose “virtual” as an option for your 30-minute session when you register.
