Your first step takes place at Beginnings. Unlike your day-to-day role at your facility, office, or remote work environment, on this day you’ll be attending and participating in our in-person Beginnings, the Northwell orientation for all new hires.
It begins at Beginnings
Beginnings, Northwell’s orientation for new hires, is where you’ll:
- Get a warm welcome from your session facilitators and hear directly from executive leadership on where Northwell is headed and how team members can add to the organization’s success
- Discover the unique culture, services, and growth opportunities within your specific Northwell market
- Learn about Northwell’s foundational values, our team member promise, and our unwavering commitment to patient experience
- Explore the vast opportunities and support Northwell offers to help you grow and find a rewarding career

What to expect at Beginnings
Welcome Session Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location Address: Staten Island University Hospital, at the Regina McGinn Education Center – 475 Seaview Ave., 2nd Floor, Staten Island, NY 10305
Please arrive for the session at 8:30 a.m. using the entrance off Seaview Avenue.
Please note that street parking is limited. Please note: If street parking is full, you may need to park further out from the hospital and walk a further distance to the entrance. Metered spots require you to feed the meter throughout the day.
