Westchester Ambulatory Medical Assistant Employee Referral Campaign
For every full-time and part-time medical assistant role that we hire who you refer, you will receive a referral bonus up to $2,000.*
New hires will also receive a sign-on bonus up to $2,000.*
As a valued and respected team member at Northwell Health, we are reaching out to ask if you know someone who you think would be interested in exploring a career as a medical assistant for our Westchester ambulatory practices.
Submit your referrals by June 30, 2026.
To receive this cash award, the following criteria must be met:
- Any Northwell team member who submits a referral for a vacant position at a designated Westchester ambulatory site is eligible to receive up to a $2,000* bonus, less any applicable withholding and taxes.
- Full-time roles: The referral bonus shall be paid to the referring employee in two installments: $1,000 after the referred employee has completed three months of work after passing probation, and $1,000 after the referred employee has completed six months of work after passing probation.
- Part-time roles: The referral bonus shall be paid to the referring employee in two installments:$500 after the referred employee has completed three months of work after passing probation, and $500 after the referred employee has completedsix months of work after passing probation.
- Referred employees: a) must not have been former employees of Northwell Health within the past six months of this agreement, and b) must not be a temporary/agency employee currently assigned to Northwell Health.
- Employees that transfer from another Northwell Health hospital or facility are not eligible.
- The referring employee must still be employed with Northwell Health at the time of the cash bonus payout.
- The referral bonus will not be awarded to VPs and above.
