Northwell promotes healthy lifestyle choices in support of your physical well-being, including health and welfare benefits, nutrition, fitness, health services and family planning resources and programs.

  • Medical: three comprehensive medical plans, plus a prescription drug plan, to help you find coverage that best fits your needs.
    • Free ($0 copay) primary and specialist office visits when seeing Northwell Health Physician Partner (NHPP) providers.
    • Navigation and concierge fast track services to appointments and care in a variety of specialties such as behavioral health, cancer, pediatrics and musculoskeletal care for members.
  • Well-being credit program: up to $2,600 in annual paycheck credits for completing healthy actions, to offset the cost of team member medical insurance.
    • This means approximately 60% of team members are eligible to receive coverage for around $100/paycheck or less.
  • Family planning: 100% covered fertility treatments, up to $40,000 financial assistance for costs related to the adoption of a child, paid parental leave benefits to bond with a new child and more.
    • Up to $45,000 lifetime coverage for IVF treatments including genetic testing and short-term shortage.
    • An additional $15,000 lifetime coverage for fertility specialty Rx medications.
    • Over 4,000 parental leaves annually, with up to 22 weeks of total leave time for birthing parents.
