Management Associate Program (MAP)

As a participant in the Management Associate Program (MAP) you will gain a holistic understanding of the business of health care, as well as the overall mission of Northwell Health. By leading strategic and innovative projects you will develop your business, professional, analytical and project management skills. You will also work closely with senior executives and expand your professional horizons through their mentorship.

You will be a full-time member of the Northwell Health team, starting as a Financial and Operations Management Associate in your first year, then promoted to a Senior Financial and Operations Management Associate in your second year.

Our highly competitive program gives you the opportunity to realize your potential and explore finance, operations, clinical partnerships, quality management, and patient experience. At the end of the two-year program, you’ll be fully prepared to lead and support our mission to be at the forefront of national health care delivery. The program focuses on accomplishing the challenges of today while preparing for the goals of the future.

How it works.

Each associate is tracked with an Individualized Development Plan (IDP); this plan is tailored to provide a prescriptive learning experience, guaranteeing that every individual moves on from the program with the tools needed to be successful. In conjunction with the IDP, associates will participate in didactic sessions as well as receive direct feedback from his or her preceptor.
