STARS Employee Referral Campaign
For every full-time and part-time role we hire who you refer, you will receive a referral bonus up to $1,000.
The referred employee may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus.**

We are presently recruiting for the following roles across our STARS locations in Manhattan, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties:

- Athletic Trainer
- Hand Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Physical Therapist
- Physical Therapy Assistant
- Reception (Administrative Support Assistant)
- Revenue Cycle (Financial Services Representative)
- And other select titles…
Submit your referrals by December 31, 2024.
To receive this cash award, the following criteria must be met:
- Any Northwell team member who submits a referral for a vacant position is eligible to receive a $1,000 bonus, less any applicable withholding and taxes.
- The referral bonus shall be paid to the referring employee in two installments: $500 after the referred employee passes probation, and $500 after the referred employee has completed three months of work after passing probation.
- Referred employees: a) must not have been former employees of Northwell Health in PT or OT titles within the past six months of this agreement, and b) must not be a temporary/agency employee currently assigned to Northwell Health. Employees that transfer from another Northwell Health hospital or facility to STARS are not eligible.
- The referring employee must still be employed with STARS at the time of the cash bonus payout.
- The referral bonus will not be awarded to VPs and above.
- The Referral Bonus Program shall end on December 31, 2024, or upon seven (7) days’ notice by STARS to 1199, whichever comes first.
