Job Description
Responsible for delivering focused HR expertise through guidance and support regarding team member concerns across the Northwell Health system. Advocates for team members to support organization culture and values. Provides risk and credibility assessments in partnership with Leadership and other internal partners.
Job Responsibility
1.Provides support for all Northwell team members including physicians with direction from the Team Member Concerns and Resolutions (TMCR) leadership.
2.Identifies, escalates concerns to applicable levels of leadership and stakeholders based upon the complexity/severity.
3.Manages team members concerns from initial intake to resolution in consideration of the complexity while maintaining confidentiality, respect and empathy throughout the resolution process.
4.Facilitates and collaborates with all levels of leadership and other internal stakeholders (ACC, Legal, Labor, Employee Assistance etc.) to provide risk assessment and discuss potential opportunities for resolution. Communicating effectively identifying relevant questions to evaluate basis for team member concerns. Establishes trust and builds rapport.
5.Reviews, researches, responds, and tracks all employee relations requests in applicable systems and in the appropriate timeframe.
6.Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders identifying relevant questions to evaluate basis for team member concerns. Establish trust and build rapport.
7.Operates under general guidance with varied case assignments which require critical thinking and independent decisions on course of action.
8.Records and maintains detailed, precise notes to support grievance officers for both union and non-union grievance processes.
9.Monitors and maintains applicable departmental employee relations mailboxes, applications, and other methods of concerns intake.
10.Supports TMCR leaders with additional assignments as assigned.

Job Qualification
•Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
•Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $64,350-$98,500/year
