Job Description
Performs general administrative and secretarial duties. Oversees clerical functions of the department. Maintains and promotes overall office efficiency.
Job Responsibility
- Reviews and evaluates existing clerical systems to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Assists in the interview process and participates in completing evaluation forms for clerical staff.
- Processes payroll sheets, approves vacation and holiday time and ensures adequate office coverage at all times.
- Assigns work and ensures it is carried out correctly.
- Performs record keeping, patient filing, collecting payments and preparing of statistical data.
- Keeping inventory and ordering supplies.
- Maintains and updates division manuals, as needed.
- Oversees clerical staff within department.

- Must be flexible with time and work overtime as needed.
- Interact with patients and team with clear communication skills and ability to handle multi-tasking efforts and have experience in multiple EMR systems simultaneously.
- Must handle department and multi-physician academic and PTO calendars.
- Schedule patient appointments, check patients in and out, manage reports and collect copays.

Must be compassionate with patients and ensure patient satisfaction through Press Ganey Surveys.
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00AM-4:00PM
Job Qualification:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience, required.

Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, required. Communication skills, Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel experience, preferred.
