Job Description
Prepares patients for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) treatments. Assists clinical staff with patient examination and treatment, documents patient care records. Operates and cleans Hyperbaric Chamber and documents equipment maintenance.Perform clinical duties inside the chamber alongside patients .
Job Responsibility
Prepares patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatments and documents treatments in patient care record.
Performs clinical duties inside the chamber alongside patients.
Operates the hyperbaric chamber according to manufacturer guidelines and established regulations.
Takes and records vital signs and/or growth measurements; draws blood; administers EKGs and assists clinical staff with examination and treatment as needed.
Cleans HBO chambers and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
Performs Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring; monitors vital signs and patient response during HBO treatments.
Participates in patient education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy.
Participates in quality assurance programs and supports clinical hyperbaric facility accreditation.
Maintains daily and periodic equipment maintenance documentation.
Transports patients to and from the department.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current Basic Life Support Professional Certification required.
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) required within 18–24 months of employment.
1-3 years of technical experience, required.
Previous EMT experience preffered.

The salary range for this position is $58540.00-$92650.00/year. Salary reflects full-time employment and would be adjusted for part-time or per diem employment based on hours worked.
