Job Description
Plans, organizes and provides oversight and accountability for information systems services and activities for assigned hospitals and business clients. Acts as point person for those sites/clients. Secures clients plans, identifies solutions and integrates appropriately into Health System, Corporate IT plans. Communicates approved plans and appropriate updates to sites/clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads a Product Services & Management group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
- Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
- Participates in client planning processes, analyzes key business initiatives and information needs which support, influence and transform business operations and strategy.
- Collaborates with IT leadership to ensure client plan is aligned with Enterprise plan.
- Participates in development of strategic goals, objectives and plans for clients and IT. Provides leadership in executing those plans.
- Communicates Information Technology’s vision, goals, objectives, and efficiencies related to execution and implementation of information system solutions to client leadership.
- Provides leadership in defining the process and service levels delivered to clients. Ensures service levels are accurate and meet client needs.
- Facilitates relationships with client and IT leadership, and key strategic vendors.
- Participates in capital and operating budget preparation and demand management related to all IT requests from clients.
- Reviews monitoring reports to ensure project forecasts are aligned with approved budgets.
- Collaborates with client sponsors and key members of IT to define the return on investment (ROI) and the post implementation process to assure that cost effective investments are being made.
- Oversees/ sponsors the successful completion of IT Capital approved projects for assigned clients.
- Ensures IT maintains the infrastructure, network, key applications, desktop support and proper disaster recovery procedures.
- Participates in applicable education and meetings in order to support client needs.
- Provides leadership and knowledge to maintain an accurate Application Inventory which is understood, communicated and supported

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 7-12 years of relevant technical experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, preferred.
Highly Preferred Skills:
Deep Expertise in Healthcare Interoperability: Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex integration solutions leveraging industry standards such as HL7 (v2.x, FHIR), X12, and other relevant healthcare data exchange protocols.
API & Web Services Proficiency: Experience with various API architectures (REST, SOAP) and web service technologies to facilitate seamless system-to-system communication and data orchestration.
Epic Integration & Build Management: Direct hands-on experience and strategic oversight of Epic systems, including deep familiarity with Epic integration points, interfaces (Bridges), and the Epic Data Courier process for environment synchronization and build migration.
Large-Scale Healthcare System Experience: Prior success operating within or leading initiatives for a large, complex healthcare delivery system or integrated health network, understanding the unique challenges and operational nuances.
Strategic Change Management Leadership: Expert knowledge and application of formal change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci) to guide organizations through major system implementations, upgrades, and operational transformations, ensuring user adoption and benefit realization.
Database & SQL Proficiency: Solid understanding of database concepts and advanced SQL capabilities for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting data conversion efforts.
Environment & Release Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and synchronize multiple complex Epic environments, ensuring consistency, stability, and effective release management for system upgrades and new deployments.
Complex Project & Program Leadership: Proven ability to lead and deliver multiple concurrent, large-scale integration and conversion projects, including strategic planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination.

The salary range for this position is $140100.00-$245200.00/year.
