Job Description
Observes patients electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and video monitors. Alerts clinicians to any changes in patient rates, rhythms, and arrhythmia occurrences.
Job Responsibility
1.Observes patients electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and video monitors.
2.Recognizes arrhythmias and obtains document strips. Reports arrhythmias to clinicians responsible for patient.
3.Obtains baseline strips for all patients monitored during each shift.
4.Replaces patients ECG electrode pads, wires, and batteries, as needed.
5.Obtains patient EKG data, as needed.
6.Regularly checks and cleans related emergency equipment.
7.Performs related duties as required.
Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Prior relevant experience, preferred.
Prior experience with telemetry monitoring, preferred.
Certification in cardiac monitoring, preferred.

The salary range for this position is $27.01-$28.40/hour.
