The Outpatient Mental Health Program at Staten Island University Hospital is looking for a Team Lead (TL) for Staten Island’s only OnTrackNY program. The TL serves as the clinical and operational backbone of the OnTrackNY team, providing supervision, training, and coordination across all staff roles while also carrying a direct caseload as a Primary Clinician. Clinical duties include a small caseload and a mix of community, telehealth, and in office visits. In addition to managing day-to-day functions like intakes, discharges, and team meetings, the TL plays a key quality improvement role — monitoring participant data, reviewing fidelity reports, and ensuring the team consistently meets OnTrackNY model standards. What makes a position with OnTrackNY particularly meaningful is the program’s mission: it serves teens and young adults experiencing early psychosis, a high-risk and often underserved population, using an evidence-based Coordinated Specialty Care model that centers each person’s goals for school, work, and relationships. The results speak for themselves — within the first year of enrollment, OnTrackNY participants have seen an 86% reduction in hospitalization rates and a 63% increase in school and work participation. For a clinician who wants to lead a team doing transformative, early-intervention work that genuinely changes life trajectories, this role offers a rare combination of clinical depth, supervisory responsibility, and mission-driven impact.
