This is a Pre-Boarding position Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
This position is hybrid requiring the ability to travel to Amityville.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages all onboarding paperwork manually
- Processes new hires in person and review documents
- Schedules OMH fingerprinting
- Coordinates EHS and Processing appointments via Enterprise Health
- Conducts and reviews all required pre-employment checks, verifies job description requirements, and clears and hires new hires in a timely fashion
- Schedules orientations for new hires
- Physically posts union postings across three buildings
- Submits requisitions for approval and posts union roles
- Reviews union bids and schedules hiring manager interviews
- Composes confidential correspondence, reports, memoranda, and related documents.
- Schedules appointments and meetings. Makes necessary arrangements for meetings. Takes meeting minutes, as required.
- Performs various receptionist and registration duties.
- Compiles and analyzes basic information and prepares statistical data for reporting purposes.
- Prepares presentation materials. Creates charts, graphs, tables, graphics, etc.
- Maintains department supply and equipment inventory.
- Performs research for special projects, as assigned.
- Performs related duties, as required.
Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with manual processes, and have good communication skills (i.e., comfortable with engaging with new hires via email, text, and phone, as well as with hiring leaders at the site over email and phone).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- 0-1 year administrative experience, required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

The salary range for this position is $22-$28/hour
