Supervises a team if IT Professionals to perform daily work functions and activities in support of service and solution delivery for technology operations. Provides support to maximize investment and minimize disruption of Northwell Health Information Technology Assets. Ensuring quality, integrity and IT based customer service are the prioritized to meet our business goal in our 24/7 high priority, high escalations IT environment. |
Job Responsibility
- Manages all onboarding, development, and performance management of staff.
- Responsible for all shift management activities, including, scheduling, documentation and maintaining adherence to all operational procedures.
- Presents and analyzes metrics and reporting data on departmental performance.
- Identify opportunities for refinements, innovation, implements quality control and performance improvement practices.
- Oversee implementation, and maintenance, of all in-house applications.
- Support and audit the DR Replication strategy for systems meeting Disaster Plan Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives.
- Must have reliable transportation and be flexible to work on other shifts and support other shift modification needs.
- Performs related and ad hoc duties and projects, as required.
- Physical Demands: Work requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment and boxes of paper weighing approx. 40 lbs.
- Promotes Infrastructure Services and Management department goals by motivating and training capable team members with the technology operations team.
- Leads the activities of team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. Supervises team members and daily activities in support of technology service and solution delivery for technology operations team.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
Preferred/Considered Qualifications.
- 2+ years in Datacenter and IT Operations Center roles.
- Using presentation and analysis tools for public speaking.

The salary range for this position is $85,090-$147,220/year
