Performs diversified administrative support, coordinative and/or secretarial duties related to the functional and/or operational needs of department and Department Head.
Responsibilities:
- Design digital assets including screensavers and intranet banners in support of internal communications campaigns, where appropriate
- Support daily and routine channel management across all team member-facing digital channels, including posting and removing content on the employee intranet, producing screensaver files, and monitoring social channels
- Support the weekly development of the Northwell Now newsletter, including sourcing and contributing content, resizing photos, and checking links
- Gather content and write news stories for publication on internal channels
- Support email distribution operations, including email formatting and distribution list management
- Support collection, organization and reporting of channel metrics
- Submit and help traffic jobs through the internal agency (Workfront)
- Composes confidential correspondence, reports, memoranda, and related documents.
- Schedules appointments and meetings. Makes necessary arrangements for meetings. Takes meeting minutes, as required.
- Performs various receptionist and registration duties.
- Compiles and analyzes basic information and prepares statistical data for reporting purposes.
- Prepares presentation materials. Creates charts, graphs, tables, graphics, etc.
- Maintains department supply and equipment inventory.
- Performs research for special projects, as assigned.
- Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- PeopleSoft experience, preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- 0-1year administrative experience, required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

The salary range for this position is $20-$24/hour
