Job Description
Provides strategic advice and guidance to inform system level strategies and significant stakeholders. Oversees the organization’s category management function.
Job Responsibility
- Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budgets; reports on operational performance, justification, and/or corrective actions.
- Pursues cost reduction opportunities; identifies and builds business relationships to advance strategic goals.
- Collaborates with the leadership to develop strategic category plans based on historical performance.
- Develops policies and procedures governing product selection and assortment, supplier negotiation, product pricing and promotions, and the creation of marketing materials.
- Oversees the collection and analysis of data that provides insight into shopper behavior, consumer trends, or the competitive marketplace.
- Identifies opportunities to improve the sourcing approach and procurement process which could have significant financial impact on the organization.
- Analyzes complex business opportunities and presents complex data sets to leadership that influence internal change, reducing total delivered cost.
- Collaborates and coordinates with team members to achieve expense reduction targets.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $112,800-$197,200/year
