Radiology technologists operate X-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. They also perform quality control checks and maintain required documentation.

Here are the qualifications required for a radiology technologist at Northwell:

Vocational or technical school diploma is required.
Current license to practice as a radiology technologist in New York State is required.
Current ARRT radiology registration is required.
One to three (1-3) years of technical experience is required.
